Using Developer Mode

Learn how to start using Developer Mode with Oculus for Business.

Developer mode is a Device Manager setting that enables Android Dedug Bridge (ADB) commands on specific headsets when they're connected to a computer via USB.

To learn more about the utilities, tips and best practices for using ADB, check out our ADB developer documentation.

To turn on Developer Mode:

  1. From Device Manager, click Device Fleet.

  2. Click on the headset or group of headsets you want to enable Developer mode for, then click Settings.

  3. Click next to USB Debugging, then select On.

  4. Review the information in the USB Debugging Warning prompt, then click Accept.

  5. Click Save.

Keep in mind, you can only have ten headsets in Developer Mode at any time.
